Q&A
General questions
Can we do our session both in home and on an outdoor location?

If you have a nice outdoor location right next to your home I will be happy to split your session between two locations, so you will get a mix of in home and outdoor portraits. Please note that this option is not available for newborn sessions which only take place in home.

Can our dog take part in our session?

Absolutely! Your dog (or cat) is an important part of your family so of course they should be in some of your portraits.

When is the best time to do a maternity session?

I recommend that you do your maternity session somewhere between week 34 and week 37, but you can also do it later if you feel amazing and up for it.

When is the best time to do a newborn session?

I recommend that you do your newborn session within the first two weeks in order to capture those first days at home which are so special. However because my newborn sessions are lifestyle sessions which don't require that your baby sleeps, you can also do the session later on - even up to the age of 2-3 months.

How do we book and pay for our session?

The first thing you need to do is send me an email with a few lines about who you are and what kind of session you would like to book. We will then decide on the date and the location. The full amount for your package must be paid upon booking. As soon as your payment has been registered your session is confirmed, and you will receive an invoice via email.

What happens if one of us gets sick so we need to cancel our session?

We will simply reschedule. It is very important that you don't do a session if one of you isn't feeling well - even more so if it's a child. Your session will never be a success if your child isn't feeling at his/her best.

What should we wear for our session?

Wear whatever makes you feel and look good, but remember that lifestyle sessions are informal sessions. Your clothes should reflect that, so don't dress up too much. We want focus to be on you - not on your clothes. For newborn sessions the most important thing is to keep it as simple as possible. Avoid headbands and cute little dresses. Keep it simple with a cotton bodysuit and bare feet. For maternity sessions the most important thing is to wear something which makes your belly stand out. It can be a pair of jeans and a tight shirt, or it can be a nice dress - whatever fits your style. Once your session is booked you will receive a guide with more information on what to wear and how to prepare for your session.

How may we use our images?

All your images are for personal use and may not be used for commercial purposes. You can print them, share them on your personal social media accounts and personal blogs, send them to friends and family etc. Together with your files you will receive a document which contains your print release and details about how you may use your images. If you need portraits for commercial purposes you can book a branding session.

Can we book you for our wedding or elopement in Florence?

I am available for elopements and small, intimate weddings in Florence and nearby surroundings. Please note that I only do half day coverage, so in case you are having a big wedding or need someone for the whole day, you need to find a specialized wedding photographer.

When do we receive our images?

I usually have your online gallery ready within 14 days from your session. During busy periods it can be a little longer, but never more than 30 days from the date of your session.

Will you share our images on your website and social media profiles?

Only if you give me permission to do so. I am always very happy to share my work, but if you prefer to keep your images to yourselves I will absolutely respect that.

Do you offer customized packages?

Absolutely. Smaller customized packages are available starting at € 240. My standard packages can also be customized with extra hours, locations, print products etc.
