Paris on film

In September I returned to Paris for a one week visit, and a few days ago I finally got my rolls of film from the trip developed.

Unfortunately I have to say that I could have been happier with the outcome. There were quite a few useless photos among the scans, not to mention the four photos of a beautiful foggy view from the Eiffel Tower, which I killed by accidentally changing the settings on the Contax TVS (finding out only hours later), so they ended up being completely blurry. Fortunately I have a few photos of the view on my black and white roll, but oh, the color versions would have looked so nice.

The photos in this post show pretty well what my main obsessions in Paris are: The Seine, the Bouquinistes and the green chairs in the Jardin du Luxembourg.

The first three photos are actually from my “July” roll of the 12 months on film project (shot on Kodak Color Plus 200). The rest of the photos were shot on Kodak Portra 400.

Black and white photos coming up soon!
