Stazione Santa Maria Novella

For a long time I had wanted to photograph the architecture of Santa Maria Novella - the main train station in Florence - and the testing of my new Contax TVS seemed like a great opportunity for finally getting a few shots of the station both inside and outside.

I love the simple architecture of this place. The station was built in the thirties, and it has remained more or less the same ever since. In fact inside you can still find all the original signs and writings.

Shot in Florence on Ilford hp5 plus 400.
