Venice in color

I just got two rolls of film back which were shot in March and April, so I’ll be sharing a few posts over the next days.

First up are these from Venice shot on Kodak Portra 400. Two of the photos have been edited:

I adjusted the white balance and the exposure on the tomatoes, and I cropped the one with the yellow chairs, as a random tourist entered the frame on the right.

Editing film photos is so against my principles, but in this case the alternative would be to not share them, and I think that’s a shame.

As you can see it was a grey and rainy day in Venice, but the city looked nice anyway.
